Visit of company “John Deere” to NUBiP of Ukraine

   On November 15, 2011 representatives of company “John Deere” Director Peter Kim and  manager of relations with universities of Europe, Asia and Africa Doctor Thomas Pointner visited National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. 
   The main purpose of the visit was to acquaint with the university’s activities. Also during the meeting future cooperation was discussed. During the meeting Dr. Thomas Pointner showed their interest in cooperation with NUBiP of Ukraine.
   During the meeting representatives of company «JohnDeere» visited the Department of Automation and Robotic Systems named after Academician I. Marytnenko. They were looked on the material-technical base of educational laboratory of microprocessor technology and problem research laboratory "Intelligent control systems in agriculture." The guests were satisfied with department’s researches, that were presented by Director of the Institute V. Kozyrskyy and Head of the Department V. Reshetyuk.
   On the meeting the parties agreed to prepare a cooperation agreement, in which the main directions of joint activities will be spelled out.
   Also, the university administration invited representatives of company «John Deere» to participate in the International Research and Innovation Forum "VILLAGE of XXI century" on improving Ukraine's role in increasing world food resources, which will be held on December 5-7, 2011.
