A student of NUBiP of Ukraine won in the competition of young wine experts in Paris

Congratulations to the 4th year student of the faculty of Power Engineering and Automation in Agriculture in specialty "Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies” Maryna Bohdaniok that won in the competition of young wine experts. On February 19-23, 2011 the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries of France held a Competition of young agrarians in Paris. The competition had two sections – winery (Concours européen des jeunes professionnels du vin (CJPV)) and livestock. National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine was represented in this competition by Maryna Bohdaniok. She took first place among the participants from 23 European countries.

The skills being evaluated were:

- to identify the variety of wine, harvest year, price, growing region and flavor features of wine;

- to classify wines according to international standards;

- a good command of French. Ms. Natalia A. Rudnytska, the teacher of French, helped Maryna Bohdaniok to prepare for the competition.
