Students and university faculty members visited European enterprise Wood-Mizer and international exhibition LIGNA 2017

Olena Pinchevska, head of the department of technologies of wood processing, Nataliia Marchenko, Lyudmyla Boiko, associate professors of the same department and students Vadym Holovaiuk, Vladyslav Davydov, Yevhen Snarovkin, Ivan Pohoriliak, Vitalii Sych visited Poland and Germany. We learnt about the wood sowing equipment at Wood-Mizer plant and exhibits at the exhibition of wood processing equipment LIGNA 2017. This trip was organised by Ukrainian association of wood processing equipment. More than 60 people took part in it among them there were university faculty, university students and business.

We saw the process of the organization, production and testing the equipment and tools for sowing wood at Wood-Mizer (Poland). Head of the enterprise Robert Bahinsky told us about the history and development of the firm, answered our questions.

Ivan Pohoriliak, says that the enterprise meets European requirements. We are impressed by the attitude to the work and the product they produce the employees show.

Later we visited International exhibition of wood processing equipment LIGNA 2017 (Hannover, Germany). This exhibition takes place once in two years. Participants are able to see new modern equipment of processing wood. This exhibition is held on a large territory in the open air.

Oleksandr Tverdohlib, head of the enterprise MOST and vice-head Ivan Vinnytskyi presented the work of new machinery of LT, LX ,WV, BM, TH. Students stood a chance to test the equipment.

What are the results of this trip? Three students have an agreement about their future employment at enterprise MOST - Ukraine. And our colleagues had an opportunity to communicate with colleagues from other educational institutions and to contact foreign businessmen.

MOST – Ukraine a true patriotic organization. They care about industrial development of our country and about the future of Ukraine. And students are the future.
