Sofian Sultan said that he was thankful for getting the opportunity to see Ukraine and the university. This day was a historic day for him. Though Palestine is a small country, its population is about five million people, 100 thousand of them are students. The number of those who studied or is studying in Ukraine is small so far, the members of the delegation hope that this number will increase due to this cooperation and the programme of the academic exchange.

Palestine is the country which is unique by its weather. It helps to grow a lot of agricultural products such as fruit, vegetables, herbs, olives. This country uses innovative technologies in agriculture to produce agricultural products which they export to the neighbouring Arab countries. They are open to investment, especially in agriculture foods. And all this is against the backdrop of situation that is in our country as a part of our country is occupied.

The story about Palestine raised interest and questions among the present. Ivan Chumachenko asked about the production of agricultural products per capita. The Minister answered that in their country they do not grow enough cattle and sheep to meet the needs, but they grow enough poultry and they have excess in fruit and vegetables that are exported. The Minister added that he had met investors and Palestine is ready for cooperation.
