A highly productive biogas station is to be planned in Odesa region using the of NUBiP

     The working meeting was held in Reisbach (Lower Bavaria) to discuss the project of building a highly productive biogas station in Odesa region, Ukraine.

     The delegation from Ukraine visited two biogas stations whici is powered using waste of agricultural production, including fibrous materials (straw, etc.). Vasyl Pavliskyy, director of Berezhany Agrotechnical College, the coordinator of the project on Ukrainian side, says that the Ukrainian delegation stood a chance to exchange experience and to communicate personally with operators about advantages and disadvantages of the station.

     The meeting continued at the firm Snow Leopard Project. The coordinator on the German side, the manager of LLC for economic and structural development “Hartmut Dyubyk” Hartmut Dubyk assessed a ten-year German-Ukrainian cooperation in this area. The presentation of a special technique how to produce highly effective biogas from organic waste has enabled Ukrainian visitor to learn a new technology of biogas production. Participants discussed a technical and economic analysis which takes into account the work that the Ukrainian side can perform as well as the possibility of financing the construction of a biogas plant.
