Department of Livestock and Aquatic Biological Resources – Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra: cooperation continues
The employeesof the Beekeeping and Horse Breedingchair of the Department ofLivestock and Aquatic Biological Resources took part in the 2nd International Conference "Agrobiodiversity for improving nutrition, health and quality of life", which was held in the last decade of August in Nitra, Slovakia.
During the conference, negotiations were held on further cooperation between NULES of Ukraine and Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra on implementation of the International Project No.Ukr/SR/SPU3/08 "The impact of non-traditional plant speciesand their products on the quality of life".
In addition, discussion was held on the membership of NULESof Ukraine in the international network AgroBioNet 26110230085, which will enable training of teaching staff in the countries of European community.
Professor of Beekeeping and Horse Breeding chair – Valeriy Brovarskyiwas awarded a golden medal for the successful managementof collaboration and international research projectsby the Rector of partner-university. Other employees were awarded thecertificates.
On behalf of the Rector Stanislav Nikolaenko and the whole staff, the University delegation presented a congratulatory letter for the 30th anniversary of the Institute of Biodiversity protection and Biosecurity of the Slovak University of Agriculture.
Following the conference, international scientific journalswere published in two parts, where the articles of our colleagues were also presented.
