ALRAKIS II: University Scholars are having Traineeship at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (Poland)

     Within the project ALRAKIS II Associate Professor of the chair of finance and credit Olena Oliynyk had the opportunity to go through internship at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (Poland).

     The main objectives of research were to conduct the comparative analysis of financial systems in Poland and Ukraine, evaluate the impact of the development level of financial system on the economic growth and agricultural development, the effectiveness of financing agriculture in Poland and Ukraine.

     The result of scientific research was the creation of a simplified model of integral index of the level of the financial system development - a model "3 + 3". It enables to carry out an easy and accessible comparative analysis of the level of financial systems development of individual countries and determine their types (bank or market). A simplified model of integral indicator of economic development was also constructed.

     These models are used to compare the level of financial system development and economic growth in Poland and Ukraine. With integrated indicators and econometric methods the relationship between the level of financial system development and economic growth in both countries was evaluated.

     The constructed simplified model of integral index of the level of agricultural development using the principles of the concept of "moderate middle way" allowed to analyze the trends of agricultural growth in Poland and Ukraine and assess this relationship.

     During the internship, Olena Oliynyk participated in eleven conferences and seminars. The main ones are: International Scientific Conference "Enterprise and Competitive Environment", Faculty of Business and Economics of Mendel University in Brno, March 5-6, 2015, Brno, Czech Republic; XVI International Scientific Conference "Financial Managament", The Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of Szczecin, April 22-24, 2015, Kołobrzeg, Poland; International Scientific Conference "Finance And Accounting", Uniwersytet Jana Kochanowskiego w Kielcach, June 11-12, 2015, Kielce, Poland; 12th International Science Conference "Global Problems Of Agriculture, Forestry And Food Economy", Faculty of Economic Sciences, Warsaw University of Life Science, June 18-19 2015, Warsaw-Rogow, Poland.

     During this time five articles, three of which in cooperation with colleagues from the department of economics of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences - professor Myroslav Vasylevski and Alina Danilovska, were written and submitted for publication. In addition, the possibility of joint publications with Joanna Rakavska, Serhiy Zabolotnyi and Agnieszka Bernat-Yarka was discussed.

     Oliynyk O.O. was also involved as a reviewer of articles for the journals of the department of economic sciences of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences: «Annals of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development» and «Acta Scientiarum Polonorum Seria Oeconomia».

     The preparatory work on implement of the double degree program between the department of economics of our University and the department of economic sciences of the partner-university was conducted.

     ALRAKIS II provided a unique opportunity to make a large number of professional contacts that will help in the future to implement certain scientific and educational projects within the «Erasmus +», «Horizon 2020», «Harmonia 7", Olena Oliynyk is convinced.
