Cooperation with the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Georgia is initiated

     On the first day of their visit to the University of Georgia the delegation headed by rector Stanislav Nikolaenko visited the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Georgia, where the acquaintance with its structure and main activities took place.

     Afterwards a round table was held, where the President of the Academy Huram Aleksidze briefed about the state of science in Georgia, and expressed his wish to jointly work on acute problems of viticulture, horticulture, animal husbandry and fish farming with the scholars of NULES of Ukraine in terms of impact of climatic change on agricultural development.

     In his turn, Stanislav Nikolaenko presented our university, its main tasks and development prospects at the present stage and presented a list of major research topics that are carried out in the University in 2015.

     As a result, the parties agreed to work together to participate in the European grants and programs, to involve Georgian scientists to get training at our graduate and doctoral courses.
