Canadian Bureau for International Education proposes to commercialize the scientific portfolio

     On July 6, 2015, the meeting with a representative of the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE), namely Business Development Manager Melissa Payne. During the meeting a project was presented. It has been recently proposed by the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development, which aims to provide a proper technical assistance and resource support for small and medium businesses.

 

     The Canadian Bureau for International Education is planning to participate in the proposed project through the commercialization of research and developments of higher educational establishments in Ukraine, including our university, to support small and medium businesses. The project is estimated at $30 million for up to 6 years (from 2015 to 2021).

 
 

     During the discussion a provost for academic and educational work Serhiy Kvasha and the responsible persons for international activities at the departments and TSI of our University presented a number of proposals for cooperation with the Bureau and agreed on further negotiations.
