Professor Mykola Starodub and Postgraduate Student Maryna Taran presented the University at EuroNanoForum 2015

     Representatives of biosensorics laboratory of our University successfully participated in a regular representative scientific forum.
Professor Mykola Starodub and his postgraduate student Maryna Taran took part in the EuroNanoForum 2015 – All-European forum for presenting the new scientific developments in nanotechnologies, strengthening European competitiveness and support industrialization in the area.

     Forum was held on 10-12 June 2015 in Riga, Latvia. The program was very intensive and consisted of plenary and breakout sessions, seminars, widely covering the use of nanotechnologies and advanced materials. More than 150 international speakers presented their high level scientific developments. Within three days EuroNanoForum 2015 gave opportunity both to hear the latest news in nanotechnology, and establish new international contacts for further cooperation.

     The staff of the biosensorics laboratory presented three reports, which aroused great interest of the audience. And by the results of poster session of EuroNanoForum 2015, the report of postgraduate Maryna Taran took the first place among almost 300 competitive works!!!

     “Effect of nano-composites on the Saccaromyces cerevisiae living as yeasts of bottom fermentation” (M.V. Taran, M.V. Boretska, Y. Ruban, K.E. Shavanova, N.F. Starodub, M. Guidotti) is the best forum poster, and Maryna Taran, apart from unforgettable impressions and an Honorary diploma, has also received an excellent prize from the conference organizers – the tablet Memo Pad 7.
