Students of the ERI of Business Participated in the Student Scientific Conference “Let Science Bring Us Together” (Gödöllő, Hungary)

     Students of the Faculty of Economics of the ERI of Business, Ulyana Paranyuk and Maksym Klymenko (speciality “Finance and Credit”), participated in the Student Scientific Conference “Let Science Bring Us Together”, which was organised by the Visegrad University Association and the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of the Szent István University with the support of the FAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia in Gödöllő, Hungary.

      Reference: The Visegrad University Association (VUA) was established in 2011 within a strategic project “Sustainability in Agrisector of V4 Countries and Cooperating Regions“ that Slovak University of Agriculture is coordinating with the support of the International Visegrad Fund. Today the association includes 49 universities from around the world, NULES of Ukraine among them. The main aim of the Association is to link partner universities in order to provide quality education and scientific environment and to promote development of closer cooperation among the Visegrad group as well as cooperating regions respecting the neighbouring countries policy of the International Visegrad Fund in the field related to all aspects of sustainability.
     

     The students had to prepare a scientific article and a report with the results of the research. More than 110 students from 8 countries (Slovakia, Ukraine, Russia, Hungary, Macedonia, Nigeria, Gambia and Rwanda) could present their work. Each full paper was reviewed by two reviewers and each member of the scientific board evaluated the presentations individually.

 

     As a result of the conference, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Economics of the ERI of Business (speciality “Finance and Credit”), Ulyana Paranyuk, won the first place for the best paper and presentation of her research among bachelor students. The topic of the research was “Evaluation of the financial market of Ukraine” (in English). The scientific advisor of the student also significantly contributed to this achievement.
