Representatives of Ukrainian Higher Education Discussed Ways of European Integration of Education
On November 12 the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference “European Integration of Ukrainian Higher Education in the Context of the Bologna Process” took place at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. It was attended be the First Vice Rector of NULES of Ukraine, Igor Ibatullin, and the Head of the Department of Education, Oksana Zazymko.
Participants of the conference discussed current issues of higher education in Ukraine, such as introduction of European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) and the National Qualifications Framework, as well as quality of Ukrainian higher education.
Opening speech was delivered by the Deputy Minister of Education, Inna Sovsun. Presentations were also made by the Head of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Leonid Gubersky, the Head of the Department of Cooperation of the EU Delegation in Ukraine, Andrew Rozbash, the President of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Vasyl Kremen, the Head of the Department of Higher Education, Yuriy Korovaychenko.
