Students of the Department of Food Technology Will Undergo Practice at Enterprises of Wiesenhof Corporation (Germany)

     At the invitation of Wiesenhof Corporation university delegation consisting of the Head of the Education and Research Centre for International Activities, V.A. Tkachuk, Dean of the Department of Food Technology and Products Quality, L.V. Bal-Prylipko, Associate Professor of the Department of Processes and Equipment of Processing of Agricultural Products, V. Sukhenko, visited Germany on November 4-6.

     The main purpose of the trip was to discuss the terms of practice for university students (especially students of the Department of Food Technology) at the enterprises of Wiesenhof Corporation that specializes in production and processing of poultry products. The company has 34 branches, dozens of registered brands and more than five thousand employees. Annual turnover of the company is more than 2.5 billion euros.


     University delegation participated in the negotiations with the Head of the Company, Mr Kopp, the Head of Personnel Department, Mr Bergel and a representative of the Federal Bureau of Employment, Mr Zuter, who coordinates the issues of practice of international students at the enterprises in Germany. Signing of cooperation agreement is expected.
