Students and Teachers of NULES of Ukraine Participate in the Workshop “Radioactivity after the Chernobyl Disaster and Nuclear Power Engineering” in the Netherlands

In the framework of international cooperation between the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine and Wageningen University (the Netherlands) a delegation of students and teachers from the Department of Ecology and Sustainable Development departed to Wageningen University to participate in the VI International Bachelor Workshop (ESA-22303) “Radioactivity after the Chernobyl Disaster and Nuclear Power Engineering.”

The workshop will last for two weeks (from June 21 to July 05). During this time the students will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills of analysis of radioecological problems in Ukraine and abroad, predicting and measuring radioactive contamination, assessing effects of radiation on human body and ecosystems, investigating the views on nuclear energy, etc. The students and teachers will also get acquainted with modern scientific and industrial laboratories, material and technical resources of modern ecological research institutions and enjoy the sights of the Netherlands.
