Education and Research Institute of Energetics, Automation and Energy Efficiency strengthens cooperation with the University of Life Sciences in Poznań
The management of the Education and Research Institute of Energetics, Automation and Energy Efficiency devotedly works upon the institute’s development in various fields, including international cooperation.
A number of agreements have been signed with various European establishments, including partnership and business cooperation agreement between the ERI and Diamond FMS B.V. company (Netherlands), agreement on double degree diplomas with the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), Ukrainian-German scientific project “Study of the impact of Vossloh-Schwabe Deutschland GmbH plant lighting at the research and practical center of greenhouse technologies”.
As a part of a long-term cooperation between the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine and the University of Life Sciences in Poznań (Uniwersytet Przyrodniczy w Poznaniu (Poland)), Doctor of the Department of Biosystems Engineering of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Kamil Witaszek visited our university. The visit was supported by the Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Doctor Klaudia Borowiak and was aimed at adjusting and improving the fields of international cooperation between the institutions.
Dr. Kamil Witaszek met with the research and teaching staff of Academician Ivan Martynenko Department of Automation and Robotic Systems and presented the history of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań, fields of scientific research of the departments, including the Department of Biosystems Engineering, and grants and international programs. Head of Academician Ivan Martynenko Department of Automation and Robotic Systems Vitaliy Lysenko acquainted the guests with the fields of research of the department and its technical resources. After fruitful negotiations, it was suggested to extent the agreement on cooperation and add several provisions, namely joint participation in international projects; joint preparation of textbooks and manuals; scientific cooperation in joint research and innovation projects, especially in the field of processes automation and development of intelligent control systems; bilateral participation in conferences and seminars at partner universities; internships for research and teaching staff and graduate students at both universities.
During the meeting with the Head of the ERI, Viktor Kaplun, the participants discussed educational programs for training specialists and creating hybrid energy systems for the agricultural sector. The parties agreed to prepare all necessary paperwork and sign a new cooperation agreement between the Education and Research Institute of Energetics, Automation and Energy Efficiency and the University of Life Sciences in Poznań. The agreement is expected to be signed in a month by the Head of the ERI, Viktor Kaplun, and the Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, Klaudią Borowiak.
Rector of NUBiP of Ukraine Stanislav Nikolayenko, despite great daily workload, met the guests and wished success in joint projects. And this is a great sign for mutual success!
