Department of Landscape Architecture and Phytodesign took part in the INTERNATIONAL TEACHING WEEK-2019 in Vilnius
On March 4-8, 2019 Vilnius University of Applied Sciences (Lithuania) hosted INTERNATIONAL TEACHING WEEK-2019 that brought together participants from 25 countries of the world (Sweden, Finland, India, Spain, Kenya, Greece, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Belgium, Serbia, and others). The purpose of this event was to exchange teaching experience and establish international contacts between the staff and teachers from various institutions.
This year, more than 50 lecturers from around the world shared their knowledge and experience. Among the invited speakers was Senior Lecturer of the Department of Landscape Architecture and Phytodesign of NUBiP of Ukraine, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Olexandra Yu. Leshchenko, who presented a course of lectures for students majoring in Landscape Architecture.
Such international weeks are an excellent opportunity to make decisions on future international projects or internships (e.g. as a part of the Erasmus + program) or to exchange teaching experience and boost future cooperation.
On the initiative of Vilnius University of Applied Sciences, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed with NUBiP of Ukraine for the purpose of closer cooperation between the universities.
