Students of the Master's degree, specialty "Translation" reported on the state of readiness diploma
On September 28, 2017, the second session was held with the participation of 8 students of the Master's program of full-time study and 15 students of the Master's degree part-time form of studying specialty "Translation" in order to check the state of readiness diploma at the Department of Romance and Germanic Languages and Translation.
That event was attended by the Head of the Department of Romano-Germanic Languages and Translation, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Malykhin O. V., Heads of scientific papers, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Aristova N.O., associate professor Kozub L. S., candidate of sciences in public administration, associate professor Popov R. A., candidate of philological sciences, associate professor G. Sidoruk, candidate of philological sciences, assistant professor Babenko O.V., candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Kolodina L.S. and other teachers of the department.
Students presented their results of master’s studies. Their speeches were accompanied by PowerPoint presentations. Students touched upon the actual issues of linguistics, translation studies, emphasized the results of their research, their relevance, scientific novelty, practical significance of the works in their speeches.
The subject of scientific works is quite various and covers the actual issues of sociolinguistics, linguistic culture, phonetics, linguistic stylistics, the study of various aspects of agricultural discourse, the problem of the translation agrarian terminology, the preparation of future translators of the agrarian type, etc.
