THE DEPARTMENT OF BIOCHEMISTRY NAMED AFTER ACADEMICIAN M.F. GULOY TOOK AN ACTIVE PART IN THE OPEN DAY

On April 15 - 16, 2025, 36 students of two classes of the Ukrainian Medical Lyceum of the Bogomolets National Medical University visited the Department of Biochemistry named after Academician M.F. Gulyi, Professor Viktor Tomchuk, as part of the Open Day and at the invitation of the Head of the Department of Biochemistry, Professor Viktor Tomchuk. It should be noted that the students of this lyceum have been attending our faculty for several years and some graduates have become our students.
Professor Ihor Kalinin told the students about the department, showed them the training laboratories, lecture hall and took them to other departments of the faculty.
The students visited a “zoo under a microscope”.
Serhii Honcharov, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, told the students about parasitic diseases and showed them interesting preparations under glass.
Associate Professor Mykola Stegney told the students about the anatomical museum and showed them its exhibits.
