The Department of Production and Investment Management participated in the International Winter School "Social Dimensions of European Studies"

    From January 17 to January 28, 2022, teachers of the Department of Production and Investment Management participated in the International Winter School "Social Dimensions of European Studies", organised as a part of Jean Monnet Chair "Social and Cultural Aspects of EU Studies” (SCAES).

 

     This year, the winter school brought together more than 290 participants from various higher educational institutions. The Department of Production and Investment Management was represented by project coordinator at NUBiP of Ukraine, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Acting Head of the Department of Production and Investment Management Maryna Dielini, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Lidiya Shynkaruk, candidates of economic sciences, associate professors Tetyana Vlasenko, Alla Sukhanova, Mykhailo Sverdan, Valentyna Bykhovchenko, Tetyana Artyukh, Oksana Perchuk, Viktor Orekkhivskyy and candidates of sciences in public administration Anna Dergach and Kateryna Alekseeva.

 

    The program included the following courses that cover the social dimensions of European policies:

 - Seminar "European Social Policy''. The tutor was Doctor of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Acting Head of the Department of Production and Investment Management of NUBiP of Ukraine, Maryna Dielini. During the seminar there was a lively discussion on the social stratification of society in the EU, migration processes and the main factors influencing them. Particular attention was paid to the social responsibility of European business entities.

 

Intensive course “European Policy of Social Cohesion”, online course “European Policy of Social Innovations'' and “Social Dimensions of European Policies''. The tutor was Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Management and Innovative Technologies of Socio-Cultural Activities of Drahomanov National Pedagogical University, Professor of Jean Monnet Chair "Social and Cultural Aspects of EU Studies” (SCAES), Academic Coordinator of Jean Monnet EVDISD project, Maria Nesterova. The course covered the issues of European social policy, European cohesion policy, European youth policy. The participants noted that the course significantly improved their knowledge of community development and social innovations. The intensive course was built upon the principles of blended learning, e-learning and ICT in education.

 

-  Online courses “European Social Model” and “Inclusive EU Policy in Education”. The tutor was European project expert, Professor of the University of Genoa, Diana Spulber. The aim of these courses is to develop a system of competencies related to the phenomenon of the European social model as an integrative sphere of social innovation that creates new social principles and values, attitudes and indicators of economic progress, individual attitudes and beliefs.

 

  

 

    Upon the completion of the International Winter School "Social Dimensions of European Studies" all participants passed the final tests of the courses taken and received the corresponding certificates.
