MEETING AGENDA

  • Organization of training sessions for NUBiP of Ukraine students according to the project implementation plan.

  • Proposals for publishing scientific articles in national and international journals.

  • Proposals for participation in scientific conferences in Ukraine and Europe.

  • Preparation of materials and equipment for the experimental sections of training sessions.

  • Development of survey schemes for students and schoolchildren participating in educational activities.

  • Conducting water sampling of surface and groundwater in Kyiv and Poltava regions.

  • Development of the workshop program for the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth (KPDYU) for April 2026.


MEETING SUMMARY


On March 13, 2026, a project team meeting was held to review the preparation status for the core project activities, including educational tasks, scientific publications, water sampling in target regions, and organizational matters.


Larysa VOITENKO (Project Coordinator) reported full readiness for educational activities, including seminars, summer schools, and webinars for schoolchildren. Current tasks in progress include finalizing the intensive course textbook and developing Python-based software for calculating NVZs (Nitrate Vulnerable Zones).

Tetiana USHCHAPIVSKA (Key Expert) provided an update on cooperation with the Office of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights regarding interaction with NGOs. She presented a flyer for stakeholders, students, and local residents, and outlined the plan for water sampling in the Poltava region.


Olha KRAVCHENKO (Leading Expert) presented the survey for the upcoming workshop at the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth. She also detailed the laboratory work content integrated into the project’s educational activities.


Nadiia PROKOPCHUK (Project Manager) reported on the project’s state registration process at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.


Leonid ABARBARCHUK (Head of Administrative Group) presented the official project banner required for the attribution of all planned events (see picture) and reported of project’s site readness.

1. Educational and Communication Activities

  • Workshop: Implement the educational program at the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth (KPDYU).

  • Surveying: Organize data collection and processing among workshop participants.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct field meetings with local communities and distribute information booklets.

  • Textbook: Finalize the training manual for the intensive course.
