Preparatory department

Preparatory department provides language training for foreign citizens and stateless persons who plan to study at higher education institutions in Ukraine.

Proficiency in the Ukrainian language is required for international applicants who choose educational programs taught in Ukrainian.

The program is aimed at developing a sufficient level of Ukrainian language proficiency for:

• admission to a university;

• adaptation to the educational system of Ukraine;

• comfortable living and studying in Ukraine throughout the period of study.

During the program, students study Ukrainian as a foreign language through an intensive curriculum.

Upon successful completion of the program, the student receives a state-recognized Certificate with grades and the official university seal, in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The Certificate confirms the level of Ukrainian language proficiency and grants the right to participate in the admission process of higher education institutions in Ukraine.

Mode of study: full-time.
Possible formats of instruction: on-campus, remote (online), or blended (as determined by the university).
Start of studies: after the formation of an academic group.

Tuition Payment

The tuition fee is set in US dollars (USD).
Payment is made in Ukrainian hryvnias (UAH) in an amount equivalent to the tuition fee at the official exchange rate of the National Bank of Ukraine effective on the payment date.
