International Scientific-Practical Conference "Current and Future of Mid-Latitude Ecotone Forests"

"CURRENT AND FUTURE OF MID-LATITUDE ECOTONE FORESTS"
dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Education and Research Institute of Forestry and Landscape-Park Management
and 95th anniversary of the Separate Division of NUBiP of Ukraine “Boyarka Forest Research Station”,
which will be held on June 10-12, 2021.

The purpose of the conference: to discuss the current state of mid-latitude ecotone forests in the context of global changes and challenges facing forestry, namely: inventory and monitoring of forests in information support of sustainable forestry; innovative approaches to forest fire protection in the context of climate change; forest management based on close-to-nature silviculture; agroforestry for balanced land use; innovative technologies in the manufacture of furniture and wood products; modern trends in the formation of urban landscapes; forest management based on landscape-ecosystem silviculture in the forest-steppe ecotone.
