Virtue and practical training are the topic of the dean's meeting with students

On february 12, 2020, the dean of the faculty for humanities and pedagogics Vasyl Shynkaruk and his deputies met with the 2nd year students of the specialty "Vocational Education". The dean of the faculty emphasized the need for students to comply with the rules of internal order, the code of ethics, provided information on the procedure of formation and selection of elective disciplines of educational programs by students, about changes in the "Regulations on exams and credits in NULES of Ukraine". Vasyl Dmytrovych reminded the students that the educational process at the university and at the faculty is based on the principles of science, humanism, democracy, is oriented towards the formation of an educated, harmoniously developed personality, capable of constant updating of knowledge, professional mobility and self-improvement.

Vice-dean for scientific work Svitlana Kharchenko stressed the students' observance of the principles of academic integrity. At present, the issue of academic integrity among the university community is of paramount importance, as it certainly promotes the culture of academic writing among academic staff and students as a whole. The modern education system requires both the professor and the student to observe high scientific standards, which is implemented in the preparation of scientific papers, reports, when writing articles, abstracts, etc. Higher education applicants may be held liable for such academic responsibility in violation of academic integrity.

Deputy dean Ihor Butsyk introduced the students to the updated list of the Employers' Council. In particular, he recalled the possibility of this year's internship in Turkey, which was made possible with the assistance of representatives of the Council of employers. Ihor Mykhailovych also emphasized the importance of choosing a place of training, because in the future it may become a place of permanent employment. "Practice is a necessary component of specialist training," said Ihor Mykhailovych. The purpose of practical training is to master by the students modern methods, forms of organization and tools in the field of their future professional activity, development on the basis of acquired knowledge of professional skills and experience of making independent decisions during concrete work in real market and production conditions, cultivation of the need to systematically update one’s own knowledge and apply it creatively in practical activities.
