Extended meeting of the Academic council of the faculty of humanities and pedagogy: achievements and development prospects
On the eve of the 126th anniversary of NULES of Ukraine, an expanded meeting of the Academic council was held at the faculty of humanities and pedagogy. Our employers were present at the meeting.
Chairman of the Academic council Inna Savytska informed the audience about the work of the faculty in May 2024. The month was full of scientific, cultural, sports and organizational events. She spoke about the faculty's work plans in May-June, in particular: holding a scientific council, participation of the team in the election of the rector of the university, events in the following areas: the University day and other important events.
On the level of preparing the educational and methodological publications at the facultythe chairman of the educational and methodological council, professor Svitlana AMELINA reported at the meeting. It was decided to step up work on the development and publication of educational and methodological literature for applicants for educational programs of the faculty of humanities and pedagogy.
The current topic of the report "Functional approach to understanding the phenomenon of identity as a key to stabilization and further development of the subject" was presented by professor of the department of international relations and social sciences Volodymyr KALUHA. The report aroused interest from the members of the Academic council and those present.
Professor of the department of international relations and social sciences Serhiy Bilanreported on the work of the Employers ' council in the 2023/2024 academic year. All those present, including representatives of the Employers ' council, joined the discussion of the plans.
Members of the Academic council also considered other important issues of the life of the faculty of humanities and pedagogy, in particular, recommended for the academic title of associate professor of the department of social work and rehabilitation Bondarenko N. O.
The present employers received certificates for their significant personal contribution to the education and upbringing of school and university students: POLYAKOVA Vitaliya Ivanivna, director of gymnasium No. 109 after T. H. Shevchenko in Pechersk district of Kyiv (chairman of the Employers ' council) and KUCHUK Svitlana Yuriyivna, candidate of pedagogical sciences, director of Lyceum No. 9 "Harmony" of Obolonsky district in Kyiv
Commendations for their significant contribution to the process of training social work specialists, improving educational and professional programs, organizing practical training for applicants, employment of graduates and fruitful cooperation were awarded HANOTSKA Olena Yuriyivna, general director of IC – ASSET, LLC;
- for effective establishment of partnerships, for effective cooperation with the department of journalism and language communication, for supporting and participating in the accreditation process - HUK Larysa Mykolayivna, journalist, president of the Union of agrarian journalists of Ukraine;
- for a significant contribution to the training of specialists in international relations and participation in cultural and educational events of the department of international relations and social sciences and the faculty of humanities and pedagogy - KULINICH Volodymyr Viktorovych, public figure, diplomat, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the first two convocations, stakeholder of the department of international relations and social sciences;
- for comprehensive support of educational and scientific initiatives of the department of pedagogy - BABKOVYCH Roman Yaroslavovych, manager of the department of public goods of BTU CENTER;
- for a significant contribution to the process of training specialists in social work, improving educational and professional programs, organizing practical training of applicants, employment of graduates and fruitful cooperation - LENDEL Viktoria Viktorivna, deputy director of Kyiv city center for gender equality and combating violence.
At the meeting of the Academic council, awards were also presented to scientific and pedagogical workers of the faculty of humanities and pedagogy.
Winning students of the I round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific papers were awarded with diplomas, active students – with certificates.
A pleasant moment was the award ceremony and congratulations to the birthday girl, a senior lecturer of the department of physical education, master of sports of Ukraine in beach soccer Olena OTROSHKO.
Summing up, the dean of the faculty of humanities and pedagogy Inna Savytska noted that this is the third year that our university and faculty have been operating in extremely difficult conditions. Despite all the challenges, we are working, we are developing. Thank you for the courage of the Ukrainian people and our Armed Forces.
