Staff of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine attended the XV Congress “Problems in Reproduction of Small Animals” (Wroclaw, Poland)

   Staff of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, namely Head of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Biotechnology of Animal Reproduction, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences, Associate Professor Olexander Valchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Biotechnology of Animal Reproduction, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences Serhiy Derkach and Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences, Iryna Derkach attended the XV Congress on “Problems in Reproduction of Small Animals”, held at Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences on October 12-13.

    The international scientific and practical event brought together highly qualified specialists from around the world. Among the speakers were Tadeusz Frymus (Warsaw, Poland), Andrea Münnich (Berlin, Germany), Magdalena Kalwas-Śliwińska (Warsaw, Poland), Gaia Cecilia Luvoni (Milan, Italy), Ann van Soom (Ghent, Belgium), Cindy Maenhoudt, Alain Fontbonne, Xavier Levy (Toulouse, France), Konrad Blendinger (Frankfurt a/M, Germany), Wojciech Niżański (Wrocław, Poland), George Mantziaras (Athens, Greece), Wojciech Hildebrand, Janina Łukaszewska and others.

    Topical issues included diagnostics, prevention and therapy of diseases of small animals of both infectious and non-infectious etiology, reproduction biotechnology of dogs and cats, oncology of reproductive organs, etc. The participants and speakers exchanged their scientific and practical experience.
