Academic council of humanitarians: preparation for the open day, organization of practical training, results of student surveys

 On September 22, 2021, a meeting of the Academic council of the faculty of humanities and pedagogy took place. The chairman of the Academic council Inna Savytska began work on the agenda, which presented the following issues: the organization of practical training at the faculty; on the results of the introductory campaign of 2021 and new priority areas of career guidance work 2021/2022 academic year; about the results of student surveys, etc.

At the beginning of the meeting, vice-rector for research and development, head of the University operational staff, academician of the NAAS of Ukraine Serhiy Kvasha informed members of the Academic council about the sicknesses among instructors and students and the results of the operational staff on their vaccination. Serhiy Kvasha also focused on the need to comply with sanitary and epidemiological requirements, the situation with COVID-19 and to continue informing participants about the next steps in voluntary vaccination.

   Deputy dean Ihor Butsyk acquainted with detailed information on the organization of practical training at the faculty of humanities and pedagogy, in particular the attention of heads of departments and heads of practices was emphasized on the need to publish on the department page of the university website basic materials on practical training and its results; review, analysis and approval in accordance with the current requirements of the work programs, a list of bases of practices from among the leading institutions and guidelines; expanding the bases of industrial practice both in Ukraine and abroad. At the regular meeting of the Academic council, heads of practices in the presence of guarantors of educational programs must report on the results of practical training.

   Deputy dean Oleh Yeresko reported on the results of the 2021 admission campaign. The quality of educational services provided by the university also affects the quantitative indicators of the students. This is reflected in the successful recruitment of students in the face of growing competition in the provision of educational services. The number of students at the faculty has increased significantly in recent years. Today 2163 students study at the faculty

   In addition to this question was the information of Inna Savytska about the program and the state of preparation for this year's Open Day, which will be held at the stadium on September 29, 2021.

   The head of the department of pedagogy Ruslan Sopivnyk presented to the members of the Academic council the draft "Regulations on student counselors" - university students, whose responsibilities include general assistance to entrants and/or first-year students, accelerating academic and social inclusion of freshmen in everyday life. The regulations define the requirements for a student counselor, the rights and responsibilities of student counselors and the organization of their activities.

   Deputy dean Vadym Ovcharenko informed about the results of student surveys. Heads of graduate departments, guarantors of educational programs should check the availability and bring into line the system of periodic surveys of higher education students according to the evaluation criteria NAZYAVO and "Regulations on quality of education and quality of higher education at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine"; strengthen control over the quality of distance learning disciplines; update the content of e-learning courses taking into account the results of student surveys.
   Svitlana Amelina, the head of the educational and methodical council of the faculty, focused the attention of the heads of departments on intensifying the work of scientific and pedagogical workers at the stage of preparation for attestation of e-learning courses, as the Elearn platform is the basis of distance learning. student work and control measures.
   Members of the Academic council also considered other important issues of the faculty activities.
