On the occasion of the professional holiday of the Education Worker's Day at the Faculty of Agrarian Management was a scientific-practical seminar-training " Coaching technologies as the engine of qualitative change ", which was organized by the Department of Management named after Professor J. S. Zavadskyi and the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation.
With a welcoming speech addressed to the audience Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Honored Worker in Science and Technology of Ukraine, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Educational Activities and Development Serhii Kvasha and PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Agrarian Management Anatolii Ostapchuk, which emphasized the importance and relevance of the topic of practical training for students in the context of the educational concept of professional training of future professionals. The moderator of the event was Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Nadia Reznik, who acquainted with the rules of the seminar, which was divided into theoretical and practical sessions, and acted as a member in a practical demo session. More than 120 participants from different universities of Ukraine took part in the training, as the event was held in parallel online and in the audience of the university.
Four-hour training introduced the participants to the basic techniques and methods of coaching as an effective management tool. The key in the coaching process is that the employee finds the best way (answer, option, opportunity, resource, solution) to achieve his goal, and the coach-head creates the conditions that help to achieve this. At the same time, this approach effectively develops the corporate culture of the organization.
The speakers of the event were: Associate Professor of the Department of Management named after Professor J. S. Zavadskyi Oleksandr Novak with his presentation "Coaching as a tool of a modern leader"; coach of the development of intellectual abilities Yurii Kopanchuk with his presentation about modern methods of effective assimilation of information and use of skills of the future; practicing coach, business coach, expert, mentor of the International Coaching Federation (PCC ICF), Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Oksana Chaika, with her report “Coaching technologies in business organization”. Upon completion, all registered participants received certificates of participation in the event.
