Scientific circle "Soil critic"

Student scientific circle "Soil critic" operates at the Department of Soil Science and Soil Protection named after prof. M.K. Shikula since 2018. Students of the specialty "Agronomy" take part in it. From 2018 to 2023, the circle was headed by the candidate of agricultural sciences, associate professor of the Department of Soil Science and Soil Protection named after prof. M.K. Shikula Berezhnyak Mikhail Fedorovich. A highly educated specialist in his field.

Objective: to interest capable students in scientific research of theoretical and practical directions for the study of degradation processes of soils in modern agriculture and optimization of land use in agro-landscapes, as well as the development of new methods of research of soil cover in the field and laboratory conditions. promotion, realization of scientific and creative potential of students-groups of the Department of Soil Science and Soil Protection. M.K. Shikula.

Tasks:

1. interest of capable students in scientific research of theoretical and practical directions;

2. mastering new methods of research of soil cover in field and laboratory conditions;

3. study of degradation processes of soils in modern agriculture and optimization of land use in agro-landscapes;

4. agroecological assessment of soils in modern technologies of growing crops;

5. speeches at student scientific conferences, preparation of abstracts and articles;

6. to get acquainted with the history of soil science and the main milestones of its development;

7. regularly monitor new publications of articles, monographs on modern studies of soils and agro-landscapes of Ukraine;

8. to promote the knowledge and ability to rationally use soils in agricultural production among the student environment of other specialties of our educational institution.
