Presentation of the project "Practices of Social and Economic Inclusion in the EU"

 On November 13, 2023, at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, the project coordinator, Doctor of Economics, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Professor of the Department of Production and Investment Management Lidia Shynkaruk presented the project "Practices of Social and Economic Inclusion in the EU". The project will be implemented with the support of Erasmus+ Jean Monnet as part of the implementation of project No. 101127466 – EPSEI – ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH "EU Practices of Social and Economic Inclusion" (EPSEI).

The participants of the meeting were greeted by the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, International Activities and Development of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Professor Vadym Tkachuk and focused on the importance of studying the experience of the European Union in terms of inclusive policy. Vadym Tkachuk wished a productive work for the project team, its successful implementation and dissemination of inclusive practices among the scientific and educational community of Ukraine.

Scientists, representatives of business, non-governmental organizations, public authorities, university management and staff, graduate students, students, as well as others were invited to participate in the event.

Lidia Shynkaruk, as the coordinator of the project, thanked the staff of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine (https://erasmusplus.org.ua) and Petr Kraynik, coordinator of the Jean Monnet direction, for highly professional advice on the project and emphasized that the development of economic inclusion is gaining its importance in modern conditions, as it involves a balanced development of the economy, taking into account the needs of the labor market, environmental protection, etc. In addition, social inclusion aims at the well-rounded development of a person, regardless of their physical or other limitations. Studying the EU experience in this case and disseminating it among students of higher education institutions and others is a necessary component of the formation of a developed socially responsible society.
