Digital conference

The FSC brings to light issues that the organization has been repeatedly criticized by the German public for. In order to not only talk about the conditions in FSC forests in other countries, but also to have a conversation with people from the affected areas, we invited experts from Germany and Europe, as well as people from other parts of the world to discuss the possibilities of digital technologies.

With the help of digital series of events, we want to offer participants a good combination of perspectives and exciting discussions to expand their own image of certification and the situation in the world's forests.

Digital, controversial and real experts will discuss various issues related to forest certification. Representatives of different countries and organizations will discuss controversial topics of sustainable forest management among themselves and with the audience. They also ask the fundamental question of forest certification from their different points of view: How reliable is the FSC?

The conference is moderated by Maria Grunwald (Deutsche Welle). FSC Germany offers a forum for a substantive discussion of various realities and problems of the forest.

FSC certification in the fight against fraud and corruption. How does FSC make certification in risk areas possible and safe with new methods and rules? How can you effectively combat fraud when certifying products or in the forest? Example: FSC in Ukraine.
