19 November 2020, 10:00

The role of government programs and measures to support agribusiness is becoming increasingly important in the development of the strategies of countries. At the same time, coordinated institutional work to stimulate exports is considered the most important factor to ensure comprehensive diversification of foreign trade. It is the topic of support for agricultural enterprises, finding sources of funding through grants and investments, development of foreign economic activity that students consider while studying in the specialty "Management" and the master's program "Management of Investment Activities and International Projects".

Online learning has some disadvantages, but there are also advantages: students have much greater access to international partnership activities. One of such events was attended by masters of the 1st year of studying under the guidance of Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor of the Production and Investment Management Department Maryna M. Dielini and As. Professor Valentyna P. Bykhovchenko.

State agricultural support tools were presented by Seanna Bella and Rachel Wisdom from the Irish Department of Agriculture as a part of the online tour "Introduction to the Irish Export Support System of Ireland", which took place on November 18, 2020 year. The event was organized by the Agritrade Ukrainian project. The experts acquainted the participants with the main measures to support the development of agribusiness and exports. In particular, it was a ten-year national strategy for the development of the agri-food sector "Food Wise 2025" adopted in 2015 by the Government of Ireland.

Participation in such events allows our students to prepare well for writing master's theses using the obtained data, facts and knowledge. Also, based on the experience of the best international practices of effective networks to support and promote exports, we can note the basic principles to build a more efficient and sustainable system and these proposals can be set out in master's theses of our students.
