Cultural work
A striking manifestation of the formation of students as individuals in conducting research is participation in the traditional scientific conferences that are held annually and made up the total for the year. Over the years the 41st, 42nd, 43rd Annual scientific conferences in the service passed which were attended by delegations of Bahchisaray affiliate, researchers of Southern Affiliate "Crimean Agrotechnological University" NAU and other scientific institutions.
There are activities which deservedly have interest among students such as evenings, Christmas carols, evenings of Ukrainian songs, music, poetry, held in Ukrainian, as well as various measures of education diligence, conscious, discipline, responsibility and pride in the chosen specialty .
To develop intellectual abilities various competitions in subjects are conducted. Intellectual club "Agro-plus" works. Students are actively involved in legal contests, Olympiads in mathematics, foreign and Ukrainian Language and Literature, contest named after P.Yatsik, Shevchenko readings among the educational institutions of I-II accreditation levels of Crimea. Many times college students won prizes.
For 56 years in college the traditional morning physical exercises for students living in dormitoriesare held. 9 sports clubs work, which deals with 310 students, 3 groups of physical therapy 2 times a year, spring and autumn traditional sports contests, which involve all college student . Open gym ( 36x18 )is equipped with sports equipment, stadium, allowing all sorts of events, including those among schools. Over the 2009-2010 academic year, according to the Regulation "On the Ukrainian Student Games" of Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine , competitions among teams of institutions of I-II accreditation levels of Crimea were held. College Team won first place among the educational institutions of the Crimea in volleyball, basketball, athletics, indoor soccer, participated in the nationwide competition of students in mini-soccer. In 2008 313 athletes in various sports were trained, in 2009 - 264, 2010 - 324. It allows students to strengthen health and lead a healthy lifestyle.
Development of student government is one of the main directions of all educational work. The College has all the conditions for its development. Work on the development of student government is headed by the student trade union that covers the life and work of students. Each department created monitor gatherings, council offices, union offices in dormitories - Dormitory Boards and the Group's assets. Social structures can involve students in solving educational and domestic issues. Student trade union is one of the most influential youth organizations actively involved in the lives of students.
Visiting historical sites promotes a love for motherland, history, people of Ukraine. Certain influence on the education of students in the national consciousness, civic patriotism, the development of intellectual skills, verbal communication culture produces systematic educational themed events.
The college has been studied legislation, as now legal knowledge is required for the student and manager. Knowledge of the true position of affairs in the dorms and offices allows individual work with students prone to disruption of discipline and low achiever who are under control of the department and college. Active work to promote healthy lifestyle is done. According to the plan of educational work in the dormitories, medical staff, library staff, educators conduct interviews, which promotes a healthy lifestyle. Annually cycle commission of general disciplines performs conference about the dangers of drug use and smoking, which serve students with presentations and reports. At the medical center a series of measures for the prevention of HIV and AIDS is conducted. At the dormitoryl periodically exhibition of posters is created by students living in dormitories, about the dangers of smoking and on prevention of AIDS. According to the Ministry of Education Order "On ban of smoking in schools and institutions of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine " smoking is banned on campus. in a dormitory with students such preventive measures are done: View teleinformation "Do not break my fate ", business games "You have the right to choose", lectures and individual interviews about the dangers of smoking ( specialists , psychologists) . Work with parents of students who are likely to smoke is provided with use of the new technology: " Formation of legal skills behavior" , the " isthmus " program, "The equal to equal". Individual work is one of the pillars of education. Guidance on educational work is done by methodical association of curators of study groups. The College has developed a system of work with curators. Monthly methodological studies, exchanges of experience are conducted, best experience of curators is summarized through the teaching office. Curators of groups actively participated in the contest "curator of Study Group". Winners of the qualifying round took part in the regional stage of the competition .
The college has all the possibilities for artistic and aesthetic education of youth. Students take part in amateur performandormitory" among schools of Crimea , dormitory #7 was ranked first . Monthly totals of internal competition are done, each student living in a dorm , is interested in creating comfort in the room. Aesthetically designed dormitories and rooms help to create normal living conditions for employment and recreation of college students. Work carried out in college as a whole can successfully address issues of national education of students.
