The challenge of the reality for the students of different specialties is to acquire knowledge in management, in particular the basics of business projecting. The ability to design your idea into a project and start your own business is among the skills needed in anyone's life. That is why the Production and Investment Management Department of the NULES of Ukraine headed by Doctor of Economics, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Lidiia V. Shynkaruk has initiated the teaching of the discipline "Basics of the Business Projecting" for the students of various specialties. Mastering the discipline students are invited to develop and defend a project of their potential business. In the beginning of the course students are provided with a clear plan ("skeleton") of the business project which becomes the basis for the project creating.
In conditions of the challenges of the spring of 2020 the course "Basics of Business Projecting" has been provided by Doctor of Science, Associate Professor of Production and Investment Management Department Maryna M. Delini and PhD, Associate Professor of the Production and Investment Management Kateryna A. Alekseieva distantly (using the Elearn platform and using ZOOM cloud technologies). The results have proved to be satisfactory and a large number of interesting ideas of the students have been framed into the projects.
The logical conclusion of the course "Basics of Business Projecting" for students-journalists of the Faculty of Humanities and Education of the NULES of Ukraine was the defense of their own business projects in a conference in ZOOM.
Thus, students presented their own business projects: a project for the production of masks (Kharchuk Diana), a project "BBViews" (implementation of the release and dissemination of information through a mobile application) (Wegner Anastasia, Bukharova Julia, Boyko Elena), a book publishing business project "ASTRAbook" (Kohut Marina, Mykhailyuk Kateryna), project "Healthy lifestyle application (services of trainers and nutritionists)" (Grabovska Sofia, Matviychuk Victoria, Postanyuk Marina).
We are deeply convinced that the discipline "Basics of Business Projecting" is interesting and necessary for students of different specialties and faculties!
