April 23, 2018

Associate professor of the department of geo informatics and aerospace research of Earth Anton Koshel has been training in Uniwersytet Przyrodniczywe Wrocławiu since April, 1. It was due to Stanislav Tolpa’s scholarship program which Anton Koshyl had won. Stanislav Tolpa was a prominent Polish professor. Anton Koshel is training at Faculty of Environment Engineering and Geodesy (Wydział Inżynierii Kształtowania Środowiska i Geodezji), the department of spatial economy. Head of this internship is doctor of technical sciences Olgierd Kempa.

Anton Koshen visited Centre of geodesic and cartography documentation, particularly the department of cadastre property (ZGKiKM) in Wroclaw. He learnt about the work of ZGKiKM, the role of cadastre in managing property, information which is collected and registered, prices and values as main sources of property price data in Poland.

Currently, Anton Koshel is studying modern methods of conducting monetary valuation of property in Poland, including land plots, the implementation of the method of mass evaluation of land in Poland. The latter one is urgent for Ukraine and is the focus of Anton Koshel’s research interests.

He also got to know about Polish modern approaches of distance learning which will be recommended to implement and improve the existing system of distance learning in National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.
Two weeks of internship ended up in preparing an article with research outcomes which was sent to II International scientific and practical conference «Evaluation-Innovations». This conference will take place in Belarus in May, 2018.

I am grateful to Dean of Faculty of Land Management Taras Yevsiukov, head of the department of land planning Andrii Martyn, head of the department of geo informatics and aerospace research of Earth Svitlana Kohan, Polish colleagues, such as doctor Olgierd Kempa and doctor Leszek Stanek for their support in organising this internship.
