All-Ukrainian tournament of young chemists is welcomed by agrobiologists

   In order to support talented young people, their involvement in the field of agribusiness, as well as to promote agrobiological professions, conduct career guidance work of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, support the prestige of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, the staff of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, and in particular the Dushechkin Department of Agrochemistry and Quality of Crop Production of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, together with the National Ecological and Naturalistic Centre for Student Youth of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, within the framework of the All-Ukrainian t It should be noted that the 3 best universities of Ukraine were awarded for organising and conducting this important tournament for young people: Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and NULES of Ukraine.

 

   Oksana Tonkha, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, welcomed the conference participants. She also spoke about the benefits of studying at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of NULES, introduced the modern specialities of agronomy and horticulture and viticulture, and the activities of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences in general. Oleksandr Tsyz drew the attention of future applicants to the peculiarities of the 2024 admission campaign.

 

 

  After that, Nadiia Bordiuzha, Associate Professor of the Dushechkin Department of Agrochemistry and Quality of Crop Production, spoke about the department's activities, areas of work, and drew attention to employment opportunities after mastering the speciality of agronomy. Ihor Bordiuzha, assistant of the Dushechkin Department of Agrochemistry and Quality of Crop Production, introduced the new laboratory of unmanned technologies and the use of drones in agronomy.

 

   After that, the conference participants got acquainted with the theoretical information at the lecture hall. And then proceeded to complete the tournament tasks. The competition between the students was interesting and enthusiastic, everyone wanted to prove themselves to the best of their ability and become the first. Out of 209 applicants for the victory in the tournament cycle of the competition under the NUBiP programme of Ukraine, luck smiled on Daria Kolomoyets from Zaporizhzhia region, Anna Veremska and Angelina Melnyk from Rivne region, who took 1st, 2nd and 3rd places respectively in the tournament competition under the NUBiP programme of Ukraine.
