Discussion of the educational program "Protection and technologies of soil restoration" in the focus of the meeting of the department
During the February meeting of the Department of Soil Science and Soil Protection named after prof. M.K. Shikula the guarantor of the educational program "Feeding and Soil Recovery Technologies", Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovation Activities, Professor Oksana TONHA analyzed in detail the state of filling in self-assessment information.

She noted that the university held a working meeting with guarantors of educational programs that are preparing for the accreditation procedure in the 2026/2027 academic year. During the meeting, strategic directions were discussed in detail, which will determine the success of preparation for future accreditation visits. The main element of preparation for accreditation is the internal introspection of the educational program compliance with the evaluation criteria, the requirements of higher education standards, professional standards, as well as the licensing conditions for educational activities.
Members of the working group consisting of the head of the department Bogdanovich R.P., Professor Kravchenko Yu.S., associate professors Karabach K.S., Kucher L.I., Yarosh A.V. and Subbotina O.V. reported on the work done, namely the survey of participants in the educational process, stakeholders, reviews of the educational program.
The guarantor of the program emphasized the requirements for the implementation of licensing conditions by scientific and pedagogical workers who provide teaching of mandatory educational components. Checking their professional achievements, namely publications, internships, textbooks and manuals is a critical point of such training. Oksana Leonidivna noted that it is necessary to strengthen the methodological support of disciplines, prepare courses of lectures in those disciplines that are not provided with textbooks or textbooks, in the list of recommended sources it is necessary to add their own publications of teachers that correspond to the subject of a certain discipline. It is also necessary to invite representatives of agribusiness and leading scientists to conduct guest lectures. It is important to intensify the scientific work of masters, write abstracts, participate in conferences and seminars.
The head of the department stressed the need to post all information about the educational program on the website of the department, noted the preparation of cooperation agreements with companies and scientific organizations.
