The laboratory was opened on October 11, 2017 on the basis of the Department of Soil Science and Soil Protection named after prof. M.K. Shikula.

The work of the laboratory is aimed at monitoring the quality of soils and research in manufacturers of problem areas in the fields to increase the efficiency of using the field potential and maintaining its fertility. Depending on the needs of the customer, the results of the tests can be in the form of tables with data, analysis with recommendations, graphs, maps, maps, tasks for differential fertilization provided by specialists.

All measuring instruments in the laboratory are European – Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy. Dishes, containers and materials that are used - Ukrainian production. Each device has a profile engineer-laboratory, who knows all the requirements for the analysis and maintenance of equipment.

The laboratory provides services:

• complete agrochemical assessment in the system "soil-plant-flurred";

• modern foreign certified equipment;

• testing in accordance with the current domestic and international regulatory documents of DSTU, DSTU ISO, DSTU IES, DSTU EN;

• individual approach to laboratory tests;

• participation in interlaboratory comparisons with companies such as Kernel (Druzhba Nova Lab), Svarog, Western Bug, etc.

Laboratory tests are carried out in the modern agrochemical laboratory in accordance with domestic and international standards DSTU, EN, ISO. Due to the high level of technical support of the laboratory and automation of many processes, we have the opportunity to conduct tests in a short time, while maintaining their quality.

Agrochemical tests are carried out both locally (when the limiting factors are known and comprehensively. Complexity is the main factor of successful agrochemical examination. This approach makes it possible:

• optimize the use of soil resources;

• identify ways to increase field productivity and its effective use;

• locally adjust the power system;

• take into account all possible factors of inefficient use of natural soil potential.

Research packages are selected individually – depending on the state of the field, preliminary agronomic diagnostics, technical capabilities of the economy, natural and geographical features and previously diagnosed oppressive factors.

Formation of agrochemical recommendations-conclusions on optimizing the power system. Depending on the test package and the direction of agrochemical research, the client receives:

• agrochemical conclusion with an assessment of limiting factors;

• recommendations for improving and optimizing the power system for the planned harvest;

• adapted power supply system, taking into account the main technical aspects of cultivated crops;

• correction of the power supply system, taking into account the possible and economically efficient potential of the field (yield);

• projects for deoxidation (limeation) and elimination of exposure to toxic sodium (gypsum);

• draft reclamation measures to improve the condition of the soil (organic fertilization, green manure).
