EAERE is an international scientific association whose activities are aimed at developing environmental, climate and resource economics as a science; encouraging cooperation and communication between scientists, researchers, politicians, students specializing in environmental, climate and resource economics in various European countries; deepening cooperation between universities and research institutions in Europe.
To fulfill its statutory tasks, the association organizes various events (conferences, workshops, summer schools, etc.) in different countries. To encourage and increase motivation for scientific activities, EAERE provides funding opportunities (grants, partial funding, payment for the cost of publishing research results, etc.). And for scientists from Ukraine, special membership conditions are provided.
The most important achievements and events are made public at regular annual conferences, which are held every summer in one of the European countries and bring together about 700 participants from all over the world. The event brings together international researchers, scientists, economists and students to participate in the discussion of current topics in the environmental and resource economy.
The program of the current conference included, in addition to the main part, more than 15 different events (panel discussions, lectures, presentations, round tables, book exhibition, job fair). The work was organized in the context of 8 thematic sessions.
