Modern technologies and agricultural innovations: results of the business seminar
On February 04, 2025, the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine hosted a business seminar «Safety for every day». The event was supported by the rector of the University Vadym TKACHUK and Tetiana HODYAK — regional director of GUS & Baltics UVEX ARBEITSSCULTZ GmbH, as well as with the participation of the vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work and international activities Olexandr LABENKO and deans of agrobiological and mechanical technology faculties — Vitaly KOVALENKO and Vyacheslav BRATISHKO.
Main purpose of the workshop — discussion of modern technologies in the field of security and innovative solutions for the agricultural sector. Participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest approaches to the use of protective equipment and the introduction of environmentally friendly technologies.
Within the framework of the seminar, a meeting was held with representatives of the Japanese KAKUICHI company, specializing in the development of innovations for the agricultural sector. General director of the company Ryu TANAKA presented advanced research in the field of improving the ability of plants to absorb nutrients using the technology of enriching the soil with nano-bubbles. This technology is environmentally safe, helps to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers, improve soil fertility and the general condition of the plant organism. Separately, the effectiveness of this technique in restoring the root system of plants after flooding was noted, which is an urgent issue in the context of climate change.
Based on the results of the event a cooperation agreement was signed between NUBiP of Ukraine and KAKUICHI, which provides for joint research of nano-bubbles on the basis of research farms of the University. It is expected that this cooperation will contribute to the development of agricultural science and the introduction of environmentally friendly technologies in production.
Holding such events is an important step in strengthening international partnership and developing innovations in the agricultural sector of Ukraine. NUBiP of Ukraine continues to actively work on attracting global technologies and companies to improve the efficiency and environmental friendliness of agricultural production.
