Faculty of Design and Engineering establishes cooperation with Chinese enterprises

    At the invitation of Guangdong International Technological Cooperation Union, Head of the Department of Technology of Structural Materials and Materials Science of the Faculty of Design and Engineering of NUBiP of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Yevgeniy Hryhorovych Aftandilyants took part in the Cooperation Week of One Belt One Road International Innovative Cooperation project, which was held in Telin, Liaoning Province, China, from July 20 to July 24, 2019.

   The main theme of the Cooperation Week was Innovative Сooperation, Mutual Regeneration and Development. The event was organized by Guangdong International Technological Cooperation Union, the Organizing Department and the Department of Science and Technology of Liaoning Province and the Telin City Government. Among the participants were the representatives of Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and other countries.

 Cooperation Week Opening

   The results of research and technologies developed at the Faculty of Design and Engineering of NUBiP of Ukraine were presented at the Cooperation Week.

    Professor Yevgeniy Aftandilyants presented the structure of the Faculty of Design and Engineering, as well as the directions of research of the Department of Engineering Reliability, the Department of Technology of Structural Materials and Materials Science, the Department of Descriptive Geometry, the Department of Computer Graphics and Design, the Department of Machine and Equipment Engineering, the Department of Mechanics and Construction.

     After presentations, the participants visited Bitobar and Huayuan Crane companies.

    Discussion of modern production environmental issues at Bitobar (a) and water purification scheme (b) using the technology developed by the company showed the feasibility of joint work on environmental quality, preparation of joint projects, monographs and publications.

  
    As a result of the conference, a collection of reports presenting the achievements of the Department of Technology of Structural Materials and Materials Science of the Faculty of Design and Engineering of NUBiP of Ukraine was published.
