Full-time training is a contribution to defeating the aggressor
A full-scale war, which has been going on for half a year in our country, has affected all Ukrainians. Dangerous conditions affect the mood of our citizens, changing their quality of life. At the same time, psychologists note that the stability of the rear, the potential of the population are no less important factors for victory than the courage and bravery of the military on the front line.
Psychological attacks of the enemy most affect the identity of a person, everyone now faces an acute and repeated question: "Where is my place in these terrible events?", "what to do in this difficult time". Future psychologists-third year students of the faculty of humanities and pedagogy also face these challenges. However, they boldly accept them, understanding the importance of their profession in the restoration of Ukraine in the post-war period.
Applicants of the educational program "Psychology" firmly believe that full-time training is also resistance to the enemy. After returning to the class-rooms, they have the opportunity to communicate directly with professional instructors. Live interaction contributes to the development of complex theory, the formation of professionally significant skills and abilities of students.
Third-year students themselves note that full-time education is an opportunity to fully immerse themselves in academic science, because the University's educational space inspires, promotes self-organization, and creates conditions for group interaction. They already know from their own experience that a lively discussion, an active exchange of opinions motivate them to self-development and self-improvement.
Direct communication is an area where students provide psychological support to each other. Of course, you can also help a classmate online, but nothing heals more than the very feeling of the presence of a loved one: the warmth of a handshake, the support in his/her gaze. This exchange contributes to the development of resilience. This gives students the opportunity to realize their strength, persistently carry out their professional progress, because soon they will join the circle of psychologists who are expected by the military, doctors, instructors, all those who need support, as well as the future of Ukraine – children.
Conscientious training, inspired work – this is our contribution to the victory of Ukraine!
