Kateryna Shevchenko: The master's program "Management of Investment Activities and International Projects" is another step for me to achieve my life goal
Despite the current situation in Ukraine, our life continues and we do not stop there. After successful state exams and the presentation of bachelor's diplomas, former bachelor students are already thinking about their future, which they associate with their own development and education. Our master's program "Management of investment activities and international projects" is exactly what is of interest for them because it helps them to achieve their dreams. One of the students, and now an applicant, is Kateryna Shevchenko, one of the best graduates of the Faculty of Agrarian Management of 2022.
- Kateryna, you were a student of the Faculty of Agrarian Management and our professionally oriented group "Management of Investment Activities and International Projects" at the bachelor's degree. Tell me, please, what impressions did you have? What would you like to share with us?
- I can't believe that time flew by so quickly. I really liked the educational institution. It is modern, new forms of teaching are constantly introduced. The classrooms are equipped with all modern facilities, so training was conducted effectively.
Highly qualified teachers who know their business and always respond instantly to any problems related to learning. I always felt great support and confidence.
- I know that already starting from the 2nd year of education for you the online education began in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, and you completed your bachelor's degree in general in wartime conditions, that is, as we can see, the conditions are quite non-standard. How did it affect the quality of the educational process? After all, you are quite a hardworking student. What advice would you give future entrants about online learning?
- Of course, the difference between face-to-face and distance learning is substantial and I would like to spend more time in the walls of the university, but today's realities do not allow this. However, even during distance learning, we received a large amount of useful information, all teachers skillfully worked with gadgets. The university has been taking good care of a convenient learning platform and quality online classes. I recommend future students not to be lazy and organize their own learning process, increase the level of self-organization and responsibility. In this case, it will be easier for you to adapt to certain changes today.
- What are the most pleasant memories you have from your studies at the NULES of Ukraine?
- This is one of the most important pages in the life of every person, so I will always remember the university with warmth and joy. I am very satisfied that I studied in a friendly team - this is important for me. The dormitory is nearby, so you could sleep longer. On the way to our dreams, we were always supported by the teachers of our dear Faculty of Agrarian Management and the Production and investment management department in particular. I would especially like to say words of thanks to the corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Lidiia Shynkaruk and the mentors - Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Maryna Dielini and PhD (Economics), Associate Professor Alla Sukhanova.
- Now you are an applicant again and choose our master's program "Management of Investment Activities and International Projects". Tell me what exactly influenced your decision? Why project management?
- Our life is a large-scale project that consists of an infinite number of projects. We are all project managers. Good or bad is another question, but the way we lead our lives definitely affects the result and effectiveness of achieving goals. Project management is not only a science, but a living methodology for organizing, planning and coordinating the use of human and financial resources throughout the entire project life cycle. That's why studying at this master's program is quite important for me.
- What do you expect from studying at this master's degree?
-After completing my bachelor's degree, I had no doubts about where to enroll in my master's degree, I wanted to continue my studies in my specialty, and after four years of studying, I realized that our faculty is exactly the place where I can get the necessary foundation of knowledge. I hope that the master's degree will help me to determine my professional and life orientations. I want to say that enrolling in the NULES of Ukraine was my best decision and I am sure that the following years in the walls of my beloved university and in this educational program will also be unforgettable.
- Katya, thank you very much for such kind words and the interview, and we sincerely wish you success in the entrance exams and in your life! We are waiting for you at the master's degree! See you soon!
