Dean's Cup – 2026: Sports, Unity and Charity at the Faculty of Food Sciences

On March 18, one of the most anticipated events of the year took place at the Faculty of Food Sciences, Nutrition and Quality Management – ​​the traditional “Dean’s Cup”. The tournament, which has already become a good annual tradition, once again united students, graduates and teachers, giving all participants and spectators vivid emotions, a spirit of rivalry and true team unity.

This year, four teams took part in the competition:

1st year team – “Outsiders”;

2nd year team – “Impuls”;

combined team of 3rd–4th years and masters – “Monolit”;

faculty alumni team – “Wet Food Processors”.

The tournament was solemnly opened by the dean of the faculty, Larisa BAL-PRYLIPKO. In her speech, she noted that this tournament is an important event for the faculty, which everyone has been looking forward to, because it unites generations of students and graduates, creates a warm atmosphere and strengthens team spirit. She also emphasized the importance of sport as an important component of the harmonious development of the individual, and wished the participants fair play, bright victories and unforgettable impressions.

Each match of the tournament was intense and spectacular – the struggle lasted until the last whistle, and the teams demonstrated a high level of preparation, cohesion and thirst for victory.

According to the results of the competition, the places were distributed as follows:

🥇 1st place – the team of graduates “Mokri vystrokhbyky”

🥈 2nd place – the team of 2nd year students “Impuls”;

🥉 3rd place – the team “Monolit”;

🏅 4th place – the team of 1st year students “Outsiders”.

Individual awards were received by:

The best goalkeeper of the tournament – ​​Elisey GOLUBYEV.

The best scorer – Yaroslav HURIN.

The best player of the tournament – ​​Bohdan CHOPENKO.

For active participation and struggle for victory – Ihor STEFANOVSKY.


In addition to the sports component, the tournament had an important charitable purpose - raising funds for communication equipment for our graduate, who is currently defending Ukraine. Footballer Yegor KARTUSHOV joined this initiative, who donated a signed T-shirt. It was raffled off among students for the largest donation, which became another example of unity and support.

All participants and spectators expressed sincere gratitude to the organizers for the excellently held tournament, which once again proved that the faculty is not only about studying, but also about community, support and development.

We express special gratitude to our defenders, who defend our land every day and make it possible to hold such events under a peaceful sky.

The Dean's Cup is more than just a competition. It is a tradition that every year gives positive emotions, unites generations and inspires new achievements.
