A greeted word the audience heard from the rector of the Batumi Navigation Training University Parmen Kvedelidze, speaker of the representative board of the Sukhumi State University Larysa Takalandze and a head of the Maritime Department of the Ministry of Transport of Turkey Sem Erolen.

During the conference, Natalia Vdovenko spoke on "The impact of fish recreation complexes on the development of the fishing industry in conditions of global processes of European integration." During the discussion, President of the Georgian Academy of Sciences Teimuraz Babunashvili noted that today’s science is a powerful resource for economic transformations.

The EU delegation, headed by the chairman of the M.Baludianskyi Academic community Michal Varhola, noted the important role of Ukraine in the conservation of Black Sea natural resources and their management. Mr. Michal agreed with the fact that Ukraine needs more time to implement the law, including the decisions of the 39th session of the General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean, approved on May 25-29 this year. A special stress was put on difficult conditions of implementing the measures in Ukraine proposed by EU, given the significant differences in the legislation compared to other Black Sea countries and the very limited resources of Ukraine under the current economic crisis.
