Implementation of the DAAD project “Digital Modernization of Lecturing in Ukrainian Agricultural Universities”
The National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine is actively involved in the DAAD project “Digital Modernization of Lecturing in Ukrainian Agricultural Universities” supported by Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (Germany).
The project manager from NUBiP of Ukraine is Vadym Tkachuk, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, International Activity and Development. The project aims at implementing innovative experience in improving the digital competence of participants in the educational process and introducing new telecommunications networks at the university.
As a part of this project in early September 2021 teachers of NUBiP of Ukraine together with their colleagues from Mykolayiv National Agrarian University and Sumy National Agrarian University took part in the International workshop on the introduction of interactive methods in education. The lecturer of this workshop was Nieky van Veggel (Writtle University College, UK).
The next step of the project implementation conisited in an internship for teachers at Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences. It was devoted to creating video training materials for business planning. Teachers of the Faculty of Economics Tetyana Kuts and Tetyana Sobchenko together with their colleagues of the Faculty of Food Technologies and Quality Control of Agricultural Products Olena Ochkolyas and Mykola Nikolayenko participated in this internship and improved their skills in creating educational videos.
The DAAD project “Digital Modernization of Lecturing in Ukrainian Agricultural Universities” strengthens international cooperation between NUBiP of Ukraine and Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences and promotes successful digitalization of agricultural education.
