Scientific work
The main scientific directions of the department are:
- Comprehensive studies of natural populations of microorganisms agronomically for effective use in agricultural biotechnology.
- Development and production of highly efficient biological preparations based on soil microorganisms for producing high quality plant products.
- Study and conservation metahenomu soil, which is important for solving applied problems of microbiology and biotechnology.
- The solution of important fundamental and applied scientific problems, covering a comprehensive assessment and development of highly efficient production technologies and increase crop yields by improving farming techniques, systems and management of microbial fertilizer complex agro-ecosystems.
The department is preparing post-graduate specialty - 03.00.20 biotechnology (agricultural science).
