The primary goal of the educational activities of the Department of English for Technical and Agrobiological Specialties is to enhance students' motivation to study foreign languages, thereby contributing to the development of foreign language communicative competence and professional growth.
The department’s academic and teaching staff involve students in various events organized by the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine and the Faculty of Humanities and Pedagogy, such as Knowledge Day, Open House Day, Student Initiation Day, Student Day, and more. They also organize student excursions to the Botanical Garden, notable landmarks in Kyiv, theaters, and international educational and agricultural exhibitions, as well as thematic discussions and events.
To engage and motivate students to learn English, the department participates annually in organizing English Language Week, which includes a series of educational and entertaining events. To spark students' interest in the countries whose languages they study, the faculty host cultural evenings dedicated to the culture, literature, and traditions of English-speaking countries.
