THE SCHOOL FOR ENTRANTS “THE YOUNG PHILOLOGIST” HAS ENDED ITS CLASSES ON THE FACULTY OF HUMANITARIAN AND PEDAGOGICAL SCIENCES

The school for entrants in Kyiv “The young Philologist” on the Faculty ofHumanitarian and Pedagogical sciences opened its door on October 30, ofand closed it on the 3rd of November. It was supported by the Department of Roman-Germanic Languages and Translation and the Department of English Philology. At the beginning of the event,Ph.D. Elena Babenko, who is also the associate professor and moderator of the school,summed up all the events that were organized for schoolchildren this week.Especially young philologists haveadmired the  interactiveforeign language classes (English, Polish and French), virtual trips to countries, as well as excursions to the University and the Botanical Garden.  

 
  
At the end of the autumn school for all its participants a festive concert was conducted. Oleksandra Klymenko, a student of the 9th form of the Ukrainian Humanitarian Lyceum of the Kyiv National University of T. Shevchenko, recited a poem in German and also sang the song of Beyonce and Arrow Benjamin "Runnin".
 
Maria Dmitrieva , the 3rd year student, sang the song "Young and Beautiful" of Lana Del Rey, stressing that it is necessary to appreciate youth and use every moment of life.
The interesting moment of the concert was the game“Wheel of Fortune” presented by Igor Halkov, the1st year student of the magistracy. Young philologistsenjoyed this game very much, because it was quite interesting, cognitive and entertaining. In addition, students continued to practice their English in such interesting form of learning new words.
  
 
Danilo Karachevsky, the 3rd year student at the Faculty of Agrarian Management, played the guitar and sang "Wonderwall" of Oasis band and "Wicked Game" of Chris Isaak, that was appreciated very much by all the participants of the school.
 
Oleksandr Kurganov, the1st year student of the magistracy, played the guitar solo in a harmonious minor, as well as the composition of the Italian pianist Ludovico Einaudi "Una Mattina".
 
 
 
 
 

 At the end of the closing ceremony, young philologists left their impressions and wishes about the next school on the "Tree of Desires". This week was filled with interesting activities, on which they have learned a lot of new and interesting things. 

 

All participants received certificates presented by Prof. Alexander Malikhin, who is also the Doctor of Pedagogical sciences the Head of the Department of Roman-Germanic Languages and Translation. The students expressed their gratitude to the teachers and students of the faculty for the creative organization of the school "Young Philologist".
 
 
 
 

 At the end of today's meeting, guests of the department were invited to a tea ceremony.
